The path to matrimony is dotted with mishaps as you spin this raunchy rom-com of a game, all in the hope for a happy ending. Ladies and Gentlemen, we present, the Bridesmaids mobile slot.

Whilst the original movie was a surprise hit, 2011 felt far away as we opened a slot machine that, realistically, was never going to capture the originals fresh new comedy vibe.

How could it? This movie is not old enough to bring nostalgia, but not young enough to still feel new and exciting.

Honestly, as mobile slots go, it’s at best a pretty pink wedding themed game, with some interesting bonus features keeping you spinning.

The theme could have been so much better…

The sounds are generic, with each spin giving a ‘white noise’ effect that makes you wonder if the game is broken. The bonus feature hits silently, and the dings and dongs of a win are, at best, familiar rather than exciting.

In fact, if you’ve never heard of the Bridesmaids movie, you are almost better off, as you have no expectation of what this could have been.

As you get none of the cut scenes that would make you smile at the memory of a classic comedy, this is just a pretty game with stacked wilds and 4 bonus features.

Honestly, fans of the movie are better off playing on the online slot version, which has a hint more personality from the original film.

Much like our main character Annie, you might end up getting frustrated by the Bridesmaids video slot bonus features. Sure, you only need 3 scatters to trigger it, and yes you can win 15 of those prizes…

But damn it if none of those 15 ever end up being ‘the one’. Or, by our count, the ‘two’ free spin bonus features which can give you the biggest potential wins.

It took us 3 hours, literally, to hit both features just once. God knows how long we would need to play to get them more than that.

That said, the cash prizes have given us some decent 40 to 60 times our bet, and in the two click me bonuses we’ve come close to 100 times our bet to know it’s within reach.

But mostly because of those double symbols and stacked wilds during the base game, which give you sweet tantalising moments, as you walk away with more than just a slice of wedding cake.
