Twisted Sister slot review

This isn’t your standard Play’n GO Twisted Sister slot review. We’re basing what we’ve got to say about this slot on 11,066 total spins tracked by the community on our Slot Tracker extension.

These spins are the foundation of all the other data points – RTP, hit rate, bonus frequency, etc. – that we track. Keep in mind that if a slot has less than 20,000 spins tracked or was added to our slot tracking tool less than two weeks ago, we can consider the rest of its tracked stats to be less reliable or accurate. If the slot has over 20,000 spins tracked, then you can rely on this data better.

Twisted Sister RTP & SRP

Twisted Sister RTP is 4.09% while its SRP is 17.05% right now.

It’s not uncommon for a slot’s RTP and SRP to differ from what’s quoted by Play’n GO. Remember, that an RTP percentage of slots indicates how much you can expect to win over the long run. In fact, game providers calculate this RTP value over thousands upon thousands of theoretical spins. This is where the difference (if any) between the RTP you’ll see on a slot’s info tab vs. what the community has tracked comes from.

In general, the more spins tracked on a given slot, the more likely it is for the community RTP to reflect what the game provider quotes. Just take Play’n GO’s Book of Dead or Relax Gaming’s Marching Legions. Their high number of tracked spins means that their community RTP is usually close to the provider’s.

Slot Super Mask - Game Review

FYI, most of the slots released nowadays have an RTP between 92% – 98% but we consider an RTP between 85% – 110% to be within reasonable limits – as long as the number of spin tracked is above 20,000.

SRP is essentially RTP stripped down to a spin-by-spin basis. By taking the Total RTP over the Total Spins, it creates an average RTP that’s not affected by different bet sizes.

Twisted Sister Win Data

One of the main benefits of tracking slots online is to know exactly when and what you’re winning. We track two win data points: the slot’s hit rate and its best win.

A typical hit rate will range between 1/2 – 1/8 which means that you can expect to land a win in every 2 to 8 spins. At a community level, Twisted Sister’s hit rate is %%Hit Rate (Fraction)%% or %%Hit Rate (%)%% at the moment.

On the other hand, the best win caps at the highest win possible in this game as set by the game provider. To date, the best win tracked by a community member is %%Best Win (multiplier)%%.

Twisted Sister Bonus Details

Today, most casino games feature evermore engaging bonus rounds and mechanics. Think the new Hold and Win Respins features on Quickspin’s Apollo Pays or NetEnt’s feature-filled Dead or Alive 2. It’s for this reason that we give due emphasis on what you can track during a bonus round.

We track three main Twisted Sister bonus details: its total bonuses, bonus frequency, and average bonus. Total bonuses is pretty much self-explanatory, and Twisted Sister has currently given out 595 total bonuses to the community.

As for bonus frequency, this is the number of times you can expect to land a bonus in every X number of spins. We consider a normal bonus frequency to range anywhere between 1/50 to 1/300. Right now, this slot has a bonus frequency of 1/18.6 (5.38%) .

Twisted Sister Volatility

Slot volatility is one of those must-know statistics. It tells you how often a slot typically pays out, and is typically one of the major deciding factors on which slot to play next.

At the moment, we can’t make Twisted Sister volatility public – you’ll have to join the Slot Tracker community for that. What we can tell you, is a little more about how we categorise a slot’s volatility.

TWISTED SISTER Collaborates With PLAY’N GO On Online Game

Swedish firm Play’n GO, one of the most well-known online slot game providers, has released another title into the market, a collaboration with famed American rock band TWISTED SISTER.

The band reached worldwide acclaim during the 1980s with their album «Stay Hungry», and the game is a cascading gridslot based around two of the biggest hits from that album, «I Wanna Rock» and «We’re Not Gonna Take It».

As has become the trademark for Play’n GO collaborative titles, the narrative of the game is strongly linked to TWISTED SISTER and their material, including a free round called «We’re Not Gonna Take It», inspired by the lyrics and music video of the track. This is coupled with a host of special features for each of the band members represented during the game.

The game continues on the company’s progression with their music slot catalog and, following on from the last release, Annihilator, makes use of quality in-game animation to add an extra dimension to the gameplay, particularly during the free round.

TWISTED SISTER had an incredibly unique look and style, which has been translated into the game’s theme and design, something that CPO Martin Zettergren feels lent itself well to being transformed into a slot title.

«Their distinctive style of music has allowed us to create a game with innovative features, meaning it will appeal to fans of quality slot entertainment, as well as fans of the band,» he says. «There’s something for everyone.»

«Twisted Sister» is available to play online now.

In 2016, TWISTED SISTER embarked on one final trek, titled «Forty And Fuck It», in celebration of its 40th anniversary. These shows featured the band’s «core lineup» of Snider, guitarist Jay Jay French, guitarist Eddie Ojeda and bassist Mark Mendoza, along with drummer Mike Portnoy. The band’s last-ever concert took place in November of that year — 20 months after the passing of TWISTED‘s longtime drummer A.J. Pero.

TWISTED SISTER‘s original run ended in the late ’80s. After more than a decade, the band publicly reunited in November 2001 to top the bill of New York Steel, a hard-rock benefit concert to raise money for the New York Police And Fire Widows’ And Children’s Benefit Fund.

Twisted Sister

Rang Star

Play’n GO’s collaboration with the iconic rock band, Twisted Sister, brings a fun twist to the slot machine gaming world. Along with great gameplay, this slot machine is fully decked out with graphics and music from the band for fans of the heavy metal fans. This game will keep you reeled in with its simple controls and creative features.

The Twisted Sister slot game is a blast from the past, with its graphics bringing back the classic 80s aesthetics. The towering speakers, the multiplier bar designed as an electric guitar, and the iconic Angry Dad from the Twisted Sister music video “We’re Not Gonna Take It”; all make you feel like you’re at a heavy metal or rock concert I the 80s.

As for the gameplay, you get the wins by forming 5+ clusters of the same icon, which will disappear, quite flashily, allowing for new icons to cascade down. The cycle will repeat until there are no clusters, in which case you will need to restart the game by pressing on the rotation button given in the corner. Additionally, you can also choose autoplay, wherein you will be able to keep the cycle going on autoplay until it hits the limit you set.

Betting Credentials

Play’n GO allows you to bet as little as $0.10 or as much as $100. The Twisted Sister slot machine is a 6×6 reels slot that uses Cluster Pays, allowing you to win up to 4,500x the stake you put in. It has medium volatility, so you shouldn’t expect very high rewards, but with the 4,500x winning possibility mentioned earlier, coupled with a 96.20% RTP, Twisted Sister does a lot better than other games in the slot machine universe.

Distinguishing Attributes

True to its namesake, Twisted Sister stands out from the crowd or, in this case, the other online slots. Here are a few of the features Twisted Sister has that other slots might not.

Band Features

When you make a 5+ cluster of a band member icon, it adds to the electric guitar-shaped meter to the left of the game screen, which holds 15 charges. Per five charges, the meter unleashes one band feature once there are no clusters possible. One band member icon is selected at random, and all icons next to it will reap the benefits of the modifiers.

Here is what each modifier or band feature does:

  • Scream destroys all non-band member icons adjacent to the selected band member.
  • Go Wild changes the selected band member icon to turn into a Wild.
  • Unite converts all band member icons into the selected band member icon, allowing for bigger clusters.

Angry Dad

In the top left corner of the game screen, you see an “Angry Dad Meter” that has four segments. These segments get filled one by one as whenever and Angry Dad icon is used as part of a win. When this meter is full, you trigger the next feature, the “We’re Not Gonna Take It” feature.

We’re Not Gonna Take It

In this segment of the Twisted Sister game, you play to bring down the Angry Dad Meter down to zero. First, any additional Angry Dad icons will clear out and gives the win multiplier a +1. Then, a new grid cascades down, and a 2×2 Mega Band Icon appears that includes all 4 band members of Twisted Sister. This icon then attempts to throw out the Angry Dad icons, Twisted Sister Music Video style.

Final Thoughts

Although you don’t have to do anything other than clicking the rotate button (not even that if you’ve turned on autoplay), you will not be able to look away from the flashy animations and 80s aesthetics. Along with the iconic Twisted Sister song “I Wanna Rock” playing in the background, this slot machine is sure to keep you occupied even with the simple gameplay.
