Slot Cockatoo — Game Review

The Sherbrooke Suns BIG V Men’s coaches Ryan Rogers and Brent Andrews are happy to unveil the 2018 Hills Classic which will be used as an additional pre-season event in preparation for the BIG V season.

The Senior Men, Youth League Men and U18/1 Boys teams will be spread amongst the four squads and play in a lightning 6 game competition held over a two week period.

The teams will be unveiled in the coming week but will be led by the following —
Cockatoo Rays — Capt/Coach — Jed Bentley
Monbulk Shine — Capt/Coach — Eric Miraflores
Upwey Heat — Capt/Coach — Jay Richardson
Belgrave Blaze — Capt/Coach — Brent Reid

The round robin format will be held over four dates with special league rules being —
* 4×10 Minute quarters with clock stopping for timeouts (1 per team per half) and the last 3 minutes of the 4th quarter.
* In the case of a draw a 5 minute overtime is played to determine winner.
* Any team who plays a zone will be called for a tech foul.

Over the course of the competition there will be weekly match reviews, player stats and a BBQ on the final day.

All junior players and families are encouraged to mingle with the players as we have some more exciting announcements to come with the senior program committed to engaging and giving back to the juniors which will be announced in the coming weeks.
