Slot Animal Farm — Game Review
Win Studios developed an adorable game for all the farm animal lovers out there. The Farmyard Frenzy RTP is set at 96.43% with medium volatility.
You’ll find many different animals, plus a Golden Egg feature game.
Feel free to check out our detailed Farmyard Frenzy slot review for all the game details, bonus features, and information on where to play Farmyard Frenzy in online casinos in New Jersey.
Where to Play Farmyard Frenzy
You can play Farmyard Frenzy at the casinos listed below:
Farmyard Frenzy Symbols And Payouts
The main grid panel hosts fifteen slots, displayed over five reels and three rows. There are only ten paylines that payout from left to right for winning combinations.
The paylines are fixed, so you’ll need to find matches in specific places.
For our Farmyard Frenzy slot review, we enjoyed the themed symbols within the game. There are different farm animals, vegetables, and eggs. You’ll also find playing card symbols made out of wood in a creative design.
The highest paying symbol for the base game is the cow at x40, while the farmer wild can grant you x100 for five matches. Here’s the paytable for our Farmyard Frenzy slot review.
Farmyard Frenzy Min / Max Bets
Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information relating to the betting ranges in the game specifications. We’ll update this segment as soon as it’s available.
Farmyard Frenzy RTP, Volatility & Hit Frequency
The Farmyard Frenzy RTP is 96.43% for the base game, presenting a decent opportunity at a reasonable return when you win. It’s medium volatility providing frequent wins of average amounts.
However, the hit frequency for the bonus level is low, so expect to spin several times before hitting the big time.
Farmyard Frenzy Jackpot and Maximum Win
You won’t find any jackpots in either the free spins or Golden Egg feature. The maximum win you can achieve is 250,000 times your stake, with the free spins mode is your best chance to receive it.
Farmyard Frenzy Features
Three different features make an appearance while you’re spinning the reels. You’ll find a standard wild, a Golden Egg feature, and a free spins mode. Let’s take a brief look at each of these now.
Wilds, Respins, and Other Base Game Features
In the base game, we discovered wilds and an extra feature for our Farmyard Frenzy review. We’ll dissect each of these segments separately.
The farmer is the wild that replaces every other symbol in the game except the scatter. When you receive five of her symbols, you’ll get x100 in winnings. There aren’t any other wilds like walking, expanding, multiplying, and sticking.
Golden Egg Respins
When the farmer and a golden egg appear during the same spin, it triggers the Golden Egg respin mode. All farmer girls remain in place while the other slots spin, retaining more girl symbols and resetting the spin meter until no more farmers appear. Your final payout amount depends on how many you’ve collected.
Farmyard Frenzy Free Spins
The game triggers the free spin feature when three or more rooster scatters show up on the screen. You can receive twenty free spins for five matches. White eggs might also land during the free spins, which provide different multiplier levels. However, the scatter won’t appear during this mode, so you won’t be able to claim more spins.
Graphics & Sound
You’ll feel like you’re living on a ranch with the farm theme. We found a cartoon design for our Farmyard Frenzy slot review, with a farmland image in the background. Images are low resolution and easy on the eyes, so don’t expect any performance issues. The sound is pleasant with a few animal effects when you hit the bonus modes. There’s nothing outstanding to note about the music, which merely serves to keep you company as you spin.
Other Slots To Play If You Like Farmyard Frenzy Slot
While this title may be casual gaming, there are other slots you may want to try for a more exhilarating experience. Let’s take a look at a few of these now. Union Jacks also released a Farmyard Frenzy title through IGT Interactive. It has nudge abilities, a gamble feature, and one payline. You can think of it as a classic 7s slot mixed with the farm life, as you’ll also find BARs and cherries in the 3×3 grid. Run Chicken Run is another slot with a farm theme where you’ll work with, you guessed it, chickens.
There’s an Egg Pot where you fill the meter with every egg you find, and this delivers a bonus at the end. You’ll also play a gamble feature where you need to choose the genders of the hatching chicks for extra rewards. If you’re more into nursery rhymes, give Big Bad Wolf a shot. You’ll need to help the three little piggies by spinning the reels and hoping for the bonus features. There are swooping reels, free spins, and a Blow The House Down feature where three moon symbols give the wolf an edge.
Farmyard Frenzy Review – Conclusion
Farmyard Frenzy is an enjoyable title for anyone that doesn’t take gambling seriously and wants some casual fun. The Golden Egg feature is a nice touch, reflecting the work farmers perform while collecting eggs, something many of us take for granted. You can also receive plenty of free spins for additional rewards.

An Introduction to Animal Madness
It’s night time and the farm animals in the game are all asleep. However, once you rouse them by bringing on the sunrise, they come alive to offer you generous payouts.
Animal Madness is a 5×5, animal-themed slot from Play’n GO , which uses the Cluster Pays mechanic to award prizes. Depending on the symbol combination, a cluster of 18 can earn players up to 1,800x their stake.
Animal Madness takes you to a wooden farmhouse where you must rouse the creatures to earn a maximum win of 2,250x.
Betting and Layout
This game takes place on a grid of five reels and five rows. Symbols mostly include regular farm animals, including a cow, a goat, a sheep and a hen. The crops are not left out either, as you will also see tomatoes, wheat, corn and a pumpkin on the grid.
The reels sit on a small wooden farmhouse, where you’ll notice more animals sleeping through a door on the left. Although the overhead sky is ominously dark, there is a snoozing sunflower on your left. Once the plant springs up, it increases in size, bringing on the sunrise.
You can place bets of between 0.10 and 100 credits per spin and the Animal Madness RTP is 96.20%. Keep your fingers crossed for average but fairly frequent wins, since the game has a medium volatility rating, according to creators Play’n GO. The maximum possible win is 2,250x your stake.
The soundscape is serene, with soft piano music filtering through the reels. However, this sound increases in pace as you amass more wins when playing the game.
Gameplay and Features
This cute and colourful slot uses the Cluster Pays mechanic to award wins. When four or more identical symbols land adjacent to one another to form a cluster, you’ll earn a prize.
Bonus games all begin at this point; namely the Cascading Reels and Rabbit Mayhem features. The latter is randomly triggered on any non-win spin and removes random symbols from the grid to trigger a cascade. The Cascading Reel feature is explained in detail below.
Low-paying symbols in the game are the farm crops. They include wheat, corn, tomatoes and a pumpkin, featuring cartoon-style graphics with vibrant colours.
The higher paying icons found within the game a hen, a goat, a sheep and a cow.
There is no scatter symbol to be found anywhere in this game. But it does come with Wild symbols, which we will discuss shortly in this review.
The Wild symbols in this release are farm animals in a wooden frame, which contains the inscription “Wild”. They will show up on the reels during the Cascade feature.
There is no Animal Madness free spins feature. Instead, you can look out for the Cascade Reels and Rabbit Mayhem games.
Cascading Reels will trigger immediately after the formation of a winning cluster. The symbols which make up the cluster are removed from the reels, and new ones fall in their place. This feature continues until no other winning clusters are formed.
As you create more cascades, you gradually fill a meter beside the sunflower, causing it to increase in size. Rewards for this are awarded every three consecutive cascades, as follows:
- 3 cascades: Wild Chickens; three 1×2 wilds appear randomly on the grid;
- 6 cascades: Wild Goat; a 2×3 wild randomly appears on the reels;
- 9 cascades: Wild Sheep; two 2×2 wilds are randomly placed onto the reels. All symbol payouts double in value;
- 12 cascades: Wild Cow; a 3×3 wild will randomly show up on the reels.
How to Win at Animal Madness
Since the game uses the Cluster Pays mechanic, you must form a cluster with four or more symbols to earn a prize.
The best way to rake in higher wins is to trigger the Cascades Feature. With its modifiers and Wilds, you have a better chance of securing the maximum win of 2,250x your bet. You can also land a combination of high-value symbols for higher payouts.
Playing the Animal Madness free game at any of our top-rated regulated casinos will also help you to gain experience on the reels. Each site is properly regulated, with independently verified games that are safe and fair. They also offer attractive bonuses to new players, with which you can win real money.
Payout Structure for Animal Madness
The colourful and excellently-designed low-paying symbols described in this Animal Madness review offer payouts ranging from 40x to 200x your stake. This is only valid for clusters of 15 symbols or more.
Lower-value symbols can earn you up to 200x your stake for a cluster of 18 identical symbols. When 15 or more of the high-value symbols form a winning cluster, the payout will be between 400x and 1,800x your bet.
A maximum win of 2,250x leaves a lot to be desired when compared with other video slots by Play’n GO. However, Animal Madness more than makes up for this with its refreshing theme, striking graphics, unique gameplay and exciting features. Play right away and let a trial convince you.

I remember going to the farm when I was in Primary School, and being mesmerised by the fact that I could feed lambs and piglets, and see rabbits and puppies, amongst other animals – pretty much the dream for any young child. Well, we’re heading back to the farm today, but this time around there aren’t many animals – instead this farm, owned by provider Relax Gaming, is home to a variety of vegetables, an abundance of Wilds, and some extreme weather. Whilst the name of the farm is not made clear, the name of the game is Wild Yield – a highly (5/5) volatile release, with RTP options up to 96.12%, and win potential up to an impressive 50,000x bet.
Where else would we be in a farm filled adventure, but on a farm? It’s a bright and sunny day on the Relax Gaming farm, with clear skies and grass that is just a bit greener than usual. Crops grow in front of a red barn and windmill, and a scarecrow sits to the left of the reels – protecting both crops and sunflowers alike, although he looks like one of the more timid scarecrows widely available. The entire picture is finished off with wooden reels, sheep in the distance, and mountains in the backdrop, and tied together with upbeat banjo styled audios – the kind that might get a little much, but that do the job nonetheless.
Wild Yield Base Features
Taking place across 5 reels, wins are formed on Wild Yield by matching at least 3 symbols on adjacent reels, beginning with the leftmost reel, across 1 of 259 connected ways to win – similar to Nolimit City‘s Road Rage. In this instance, win ways are formed by matching symbols in adjacent reels, either on the same row, or one row above or below – ie, diagonally. Symbols available begin with non premiums, with Js, Qs, Ks, and As, awarding wins between 0.10 and 1x bet, for matches between 3 and 5 of a kind. At the premium end, we have four vegetables – aubergines, tomatoes, lettuce, and pumpkins. Land 3 of a kind of any premium to see wins between 0.20 and 0.50x bet, increasing to values between 1.50 and 3x bet for 5 of a kind. Finally, Wild Sunflower Symbols are available, substituting for all symbols except Bonus Symbols, and awarding wins of 3x bet for 5 of a kind.
So the first thing to cover in Wild Yield is the cascade mechanic. On every spin, any symbols involved in a winning combination will be destroyed, and will disappear from the reels, along with any Weather Symbols or Bonus Symbols. Bonus Symbols will be collected on the flowers to the right of the reels. Once symbols have been removed, remaining symbols drop down into the bottommost available position on their reels, and new symbols drop in from above to fill any gaps – giving the chance for new wins. Cascades continue until no more wins are formed.
If a Wild Symbol has a counter applied to it, it will not disappear during cascades – instead its’ counter will decrement by -1. When the counter runs out and reaches 1, Wilds will be removed as normal. Of course, you don’t know anything about Wild counters yet, so let me explain.
On any spin, a Weather Symbol may land on the reels – Tornado, Rain, Lightning, Earthquake, or Frost. Weather Symbols will transform symbols on the reels into Wilds. Each Weather Symbol will award 1 or 2 patterns from its’ group. Patterns can be 3 symbols stacked tall, 3 symbols across individual reels, 3 symbols touching horizontally and vertically, and so on – there are quite a lot of them, but you get familiar pretty quickly with what each Weather Symbol can do. Occasionally, a Weather Symbol can award a Super Pattern – adding more Wilds to the reels.
If a Weather Symbol is going to transform a symbol that has already been turned Wild, it will instead apply a counter to said Wild, incrementing by +1 each time this happens. This counter will act as a multiplier for each connected ways win that passes through it, but also serves to inform how many times it may be used before being removed through cascades.
Wild Yield Bonus
Collecting 3 Bonus Symbols will award 6 Free Spins, with every extra Bonus Symbol awarding an additional +1 spins. During Free Spins, things continue much as they do in the base game, with Weather Symbols (Tornado, Rain, Lightning, Earthquake, or Frost) landing to transform symbol positions into Wilds through a regular or Super Pattern. Again, if a Weather Symbol is going to transform a symbol that has already been turned Wild, it will instead apply a counter to the Wild, incrementing by +1 each time this happens, and acting as both a multiplier for connected win ways that pass through it, and an indicator of how many times it may be used before being removed through cascades.
A Special Weather Symbol can land during Free Spins – the Fire Symbol. Rather than having predetermined positions, the Fire Symbol will pick random positions and transform them into Wild Symbols.
There is a side board during Free Spins, which has the same amount of positions upon it as the main reels do. Each time a symbol position is transformed into a Wild Symbol, its’ position will be marked on the side board. Each time a Weather Symbol lands on the reels, it will transform not only the symbol positions for this spin, but will also re-transform all marked positions on the side board into Wild Symbols on the relevant reel positions.
Any positions on the side board that would be marked multiple times (due to being transformed more than once) will instead be given a multiplier value, incrementing by +1 each time the position is transformed.
Each Bonus Symbol that lands during Free Spins will award an additional +1 spins.
Once Free Spins have ended, players have an opportunity to buy an Extra Free Spin, however this is only possible if less than 10 Weather symbols have landed during Free Spins. When an Extra Free Spin is bought, 1 more spin is awarded, and the side board state remains – if an additional Weather Symbol lands it will transform all symbol positions from the side board into Wild Symbols, along with transforming its’ own pattern of symbols into Wilds.
Any symbols transformed during this Extra Free Spin will also be added to the side board, and the opportunity to buy another Extra Free Spin will be offered again. This continues to be made available until 10 Weather Symbols have landed.
The Buy Extra Free Spin price is unique, calculated from the amount of Wild Symbols that are available on the side board, and their position.
Finally, players in appropriate regions can take advantage of the Buy Feature option in Wild Yield. For a cost of 90x bet, a minimum of 3 Bonus symbols will be awarded.
The RTP when utilising the Buy Extra Free Spin or Buy Feature options will increase slightly, to 96.50%. This is based upon the 96.12% RTP model.
The maximum win available in Wild Yield is 50,000x bet. If the sum of a single game round exceeds this, the game round will end, and 50,000x bet will be awarded.
I quite like that Relax Gaming can release something like Money Train 3, which is futuristic and quite dark, one week and then a few weeks later bring us a release like this one – a jolly trip to the farm. That said, the lighthearted nature of this one shouldn’t distract you – Wild Yield is a highly (5/5) volatile release, capable of producing potent combinations – specifically to the tune of 50,000x bet.
The idea itself works. We know by now that Relax will often take one small feature and run with it, shaping and moulding it until it forms into something great – the last game of theirs we reviewed, Hot Rod Racers, had the same feeling to it. In this case, it’s really just Wild symbols on the reels, but the idea of having them form patterns, multipliers, and stick on the side board during Free Spins is what takes this simplicity to the next level – and makes it something truly exciting.
Speaking of Free Spins and of course, things definitely kick up a notch when moving into the bonus round – specifically with the additional of the Buy Extra Free Spin feature. It can be an expensive venture, but one that definitely reaps rewards when the cards are dealt just right. That said, on the way to the win above in this review, I think I bought the Extra Free Spin twice for around 50x and didn’t get any Weather symbols – short lived excitement, and quite painful. I still went back for more though, and that’s what makes Wild Yield exactly what it is – you just can’t help but want to try again, no matter what it’s done to you before.
RTP options are available up to 96.12%, so as always it’s worth checking, and I think that’s everything pretty much covered. There’s always a risk of bias in these reviews, and I am a big fan of Relax, but even with that set aside, Wild Yield is simple enough to please the majority of players, but potent enough to please the thrill seekers amongst us – it’s one for pretty much anyone.
